JobSeekers Ministry

Dave O’Farrell is Executive Director of JobSeekers of Peachtree City. O’Farrell has volunteered at JS for 13+ years. He’s facilitated almost 600 meetings.

JobSeekers is a job search ministry ministry for  professionals in the midst of a career transition. Each year, participants come from 100+ churches in south metro Atlanta area. JobSeekers meets every Friday (about 48 times per year) at First Baptist Church in Peachtree City. Meetings start at 7:30 and end at 10:00 am. Approximately 60 people attend each week.

O’Farrell and his team work with members to find a job and walk with them on their journey of faith. As we go through a career transition, O’Farrell believes God’s will is to align our gifts and abilities with His will. JobSeekers provides…

  • Christian fellowship. JS provides opportunities for people who are facing the same challenge to interact with one another in a positive, caring Christian business setting.
  • Spiritual and emotional support. JS provides an empowering environment where they reinforce the message that God is for us and absolutely nothing can defeat us.
  • Practical job search assistance. Each week they present a results-oriented module on a relevant job search topic. They also assist formally and informally with networking.

All are welcome; the topics are targeted for professionals, managers and executives. Attire is business casual. Bring your résumé. Best of all, it’s free!
